Acclaiming Regret.

Image
Regrets are painful and may even be destructive, but most of all, they are inevitable to everyone. The only catch is, you happen to meet that sickening bubbly person who goes, regret? What is that? I live with none! I am what I am today because of my mistakes and that's awesome. I wouldn't trade it any other way.  That is some annoying bull****! I am not accusing those who claim to carry no regret of deceit, some could be pretty sincere. However, if we are to put such an idea as a model to look up to for the sake of self-development and transformation into the better or even ideal version of ourselves, then we are chasing after an unconvincing lie. Sometimes we may not live with no regrets...because sometimes...a mistake that happened in the past may have turned us into what we are today...and sometimes...just entertain that sometimes, WE CANNOT STAND WHAT WE ARE TODAY! Scratch that! It may not even be a sometimes, because guess what? our lifespan does not stretch to a 1000 y...

The Anxiety of Waiting

Image
I hate waiting! I've always have. Even though I made people wait throughout my life which I'm deeply remorseful for. Just how I've been recently told by a strangely loyal visitor of my blog that they've been waiting for me to post for the longest. First of all, I'm still surprised that anybody would actually wait for this blog to get updated. But since I've been learning and training myself to accept compliments and flattery, I think that's super cool and I appreciate their waiting! Though I must clarify the following; it's not that I haven't written anything on this blog since July, it's just that whatever I wrote didn't make it to the publication thus far. It all remained in the drafts section or got sent down to the bin. Like I do with most of my writing.  With that being said, I think I must publish this post this time whether it ends up decent or utter nonsense. For I know I am not the only person who's agonizingly going through thi...

Social Media and "Socializing"...

Image
I've often had a love-hate relationship with Social Media. As many perks and benefits it may bring, the downfalls are ever so dreary...to a point that you don't even recall if there were any perks in the first place! I mean, for a concept of which title primarily consists of the word 'Social', you'd expect there is going to be a lot of human to human connections, interactions and well..company. However, on the real ground of things, there is simply a bunch of scrolling up and down, turning one post after another, futile shady stories and barely any company. People ask for likes and comments and no matter how many they may get, it is never going to be enough. They will still post about how lonely, misunderstood and unloved they are. They will still be burdened with tons of secrets with nobody to share. They will still be fighting their daily battles alone, behind a screen of strangers who never bothered to even ask if they were doing okay. The list goes on and doesn...

Must be heard!!

Image
So two posts ago I talked about how seeing so called influencers staying neutral or silent about the unjust tyrannical and colonial reality of the modern day (Is**el) was infuriating the frontal lobe out of me.  And towards the end of my post, I included Mohammad Hijab's response video to Russel Brand. Given how the latter's recent introductory video about Palestine "Take a Side", was a great demonstration of the ever-irritating-lame-gluteus-neutrality that some people adopt. NEVERTHELESS! Russel's following video; which is an excerpt from his conversation with Dr. Gabor Maté (a Jewish Holocaust survivor), reminded me of why I've always respected Russel. I still don't understand his initial take on the matter and the reasons behind it, but I highly appreciate him bringing someone like Maté and giving him the uninterrupted unedited time and space to talk so breathtakingly about the explicit truth and his recongnition of the disastrous validity of the Pale...

May

Image
As much as I can't wait for July I am hanging to you May So much happened and much left undone I am hanging to you May For a while you took me on the longest ride Diverting through all of your seasons  Now you're withering away  leaving me alone to a new chapter A chapter where not much will change And nothing will be the same again ~It is not even my birthday May!   I don't know if you are one of a kind Whether you changed me or changed life Perhaps there wasn't much you could do~ Amid all the chaotic mess, there you were Quenching your soil with our tears So you could toss your blue jacaranda dress down to embellish the misery around,  while parodying our hopes and dreams but I am hanging to you May

Oh you simply have anger issues.

Today I've felt so angry...and yesterday...and the day before and the last couple of weeks and well...there just has been a lot of anger this month.  I May just call it the angry month *wink wink*  ...ha! See what I did there?  No? Oh well you're right. It's not funny...I can't even laugh right now because I'm still angry...I am angry and frustrated.  I'm usually not an angry person...like I don't get easily angry...like I conrol and filter out my triggers as much as I can or I simply disregard things that are not worth being angry about or out of my control. Because if I allow myself to be angry over something I can't control, then I'm only causing more damage.  Like seriously I am such a calm person according to some of my acutest critics. *ahem* or bullies if you will. But...not with this, I couldn't stop and avoid the anger or even distract it away. I know it will not escalate enough to break me. Or maybe I'm already broken?  I AM ANGRY A...

Prayers of Anarchists

Image
Prayers of Anarchists May this pen be sharper than their rifle May the truth be brighter than their lie May your tone be louder than their missile May your wish be straighter than their spite & may your vision break beyond their mirror Orphaned, dispossessed, terrorized and murdered kids; labeled anarchists Who wanted nothing but to fix their bed and assemble a toy For they may keep dreaming and building a safe tomorrow Though their hovering souls were drifted away by the smoke Let the anarchists be your proof of a disgrace Let the anarchists be your guide to a human case They are part of your world, manifesting your race 'Not-my-war' takes your humanity and their suffering out of context When it's an apartheid entity oppressing a land & life older than 48 What will you say to God or once you're ceased? Why was injustice allowed?  Why didn't you save the dead? While it is you who could've braced the oppressed  & had their prayers answered!
